Over the weekend

My mum bought this desk for me. I wanted a small desk for my lappie in my room and was too lazy to look around. My mum spotted this in Taiping and she said its in pink, pink shade that matches your lappie, I went ok, buy it! I thought the whole thing is in Pink, that would be abit too pinky for me. So, as shown above, not so pink after all. :-)

Saw this pink mouse when I was in Popular looking for mini speaker. I have been living without a mouse for years, since 2008. Yes, I can do everything with touch pad. Now Im back to using mouse!
Mini speaker from Popular too. Was way too disappointed with VAIO's built in speakers, it is a crap! My old Dell is so so so much better. I didn't need one now I do. I had enough with the current stupid speaker.

Starbucks keychain. Sorry to say, the quality is super cheapo.

I always love this wall from my beautician's place.

KoKo Crunch now with white choc. I think its been in the market for quite some time.

 Tea time at Departure today!

Oreo Cheese Cake, you can never go wrong with Oreo!

Photo frame I bought today from Japan Home Center. Pic taken during winter to contrast the super hot weather!

Bear Bear 3D sticker! So cute I just couldn't resist buying.

It's Monday again tomorrow! Let's countdown for the following weekend.

Danang & Hoi An, Vietnam

Brought my mum to Vietnam, for Mother's day present! Part of it was for myself, haha, been wanting to visit Vietnam. I chose the 3rd largest city in Vietnam, instead of the more touristy places like HCM and Hanoi. Danang is the new route added to AA line and the ticket is pretty cheap. And to my surprise the flight was almost full. I think my mum had a great time there, so did I
Headed straight to the hotel after we arrived, the airport is super near to the town center. Get freshen up and took a cab to get us to Hoi An town, which is about 30 mins drive away. Spent a night in Hoi An as it was the full moon festival on the 14th of the month in the Chinese calender.
On the way to Hoi An, we stopped by this place called Marble mountain.

And Yes, you could take a lift up but the lift was freaking down that day.

We basically walked up, thats my mum at the back. We tend to walk and 'workout' when we travel. The last round we went Hong Kong, we were mad tired on the 5th day, but no joke, my mum can really keep up with me.

After some sweat, we arrived half of the mountain.

 Temples are everywhere.

I particularly love this cave, with statues engraved from the rock.

The sunlight is love! There were few caves, but we did not visit all, the mountain was kinda empty and we were abit scared to go up on our own.

That's our hotel in Hoi An with a mini swimming pool for like RM 80 a night.

Room was decent too! Thanh Van 1 Hotel is the name, note the '1', they have Thanh Van 2 and 3. Good thing about Danang, they have wifi in hotel and coffee shops for free!

Temple getting ready for Wesak Day

The street was empty in the afternoon. Temperature was at 40degree, crazy not?!

Hoi An is an ancient town, it's small and pedestrianised

 At the riverfront.

Japanese Bridge, the bridge was constructed in the early 1600's by the Japanese community.

 On the Japanse Bridge.

Hoi An is also known as the City of Lanterns.

 Handmade lanterns

The small one at 1USD and of couse you could bargain.

We had local delicacy at the roadside.

French bread, this is super yummy. its like RM 1.50 for one. with veges and meat, the meat is very much like char siew.

Eating paper wrapped BBQ chicken at the riverside.

 Waiting for the sunset.

This stall has the nicest lanterns.

more!!!

One of my favourite pic!

Hoi An is more of a tourist spot but not so much of Asian over there, mostly kwai lous.

 Full moon.

Our supper of the day, Mi Quang.
The next spot was My Son, a place worth a visit.
I love Hoi An!
